Baltic Fuel Company CEO Stanislav Korneev comments: “We’ve taken delivery of our third ship on time and we are sure that in the summer navigation of 2012 all four tankers of the project will be put into service. The new oil tankers, together with the existing tanker fleet will be delivering oil products from central Russia to the country’s North-West ports. During the 2012 summer navigation our company plans to carry by its own fleet at least 500,000 tons of oil products. In the 2013 navigation season the company is set to strengthen its position in the oil cargoes transportation on the inland waterways of the Russian Federation. “

The 2734 project lead vessel named “Taisiya” (Thais) was floated out on Sept. 27, 2011. The second ship christened “Mary” was launched on Dec. 29, 2011. The fourth serial tanker is scheduled for launch by the end of this year navigation season.
