400 cargoes loaded at EG LNG

Equatorial Guinea LNG (EG LNG) said it has recently loaded its 400th cargo into the 157,600 cbm Maran Gas Efessos tanker.

The LNG cargo was sent to Japan, world’ largest LNG importer.

With this achievement, EG LNG continues to demonstrate its commitment to operating a safe and reliable plant that is truly considered a world class LNG production facility,” EG LNG said in a statement.

EG LNG operates a 3.7 million metric ton per year liquefaction plant located  in Malabo, Bioko Island. The company is planning to build a second train at the plant with a capacity of 4.4 million metric tonnes of LNG per annum.
