Nam Trieu: New Bulker 'Vosco Sunrise' Delivered

Nam Trieu shipyard delivered, on 15th May 2013, the 56,200-dwt Bulk Carrier under the name of “Vosco Sunrise” to VOSCO J/S Company (a member of Vinalines). The vessel was designed by IHIMU and classified by NK (Japan).

The building was supervised by Vietnam Register (VR). The 56,200 dwt bulk carrier has single hull, double bottom and main particulars as follows:

– Length overall: 190.0 m

– Breadth: 32.26 m

– Depth: 18.10 m

– Draught: 11.20 m

– Speed: 14.50 knots

– Zone of operation: 21,000 n.m

– Main engine: DU-WARTSILA 6RT-flex50, 8.890 kW, 116 rpm

Vosco Sunrise is a modern ship, complying with all newest international conventions. The vessel has 5 cargo holds with total capacity of 71,800 m3 with hydraulic cargo hatch covers and 4 onboard cranes of 30t lifting capacity each.
