Clair Ridge Jacket Heads to West Coast of Shetland.

The jacket Clair Ridge was Tuesday morning skipped from the yard of Kværner in Verdal, Norway – heading for the West coast of Shetland, Solstad Offshore announced on its Facebook page.

With a total weight of 23 000 tons, and a length of 170 meters, Clair Ridge is the heaviest jacket skipped from this yard.

The jacket is built for BP and Normand Atlantic is towing the barge with the jacket, as part of a job chartered by Heerema.
