Dolphin Takes On India Gig

Norwegian seismic player, Dolphin, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) to execute 3D seismic projects offshore India.

The contracts, for a repeat client, were previously announced by Dolphin in Oslo Stock Exchange filing on October 15, 2015, where the company was selected as the preferred contractor.

Dolphin said it plans to deploy two 3D seismic vessels for approximately 9 months to complete the two projects.

According to Dolphin’s previous statement, the work is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2015.

The Oslo-listed company, which slumped into loss in the third quarter on weak market, did not disclose the value of the LOA.
