V. Mikhalenko joins Gazprom’s management committee

Russian gas giant Gazprom said its board of directors has elected Vyacheslav Mikhalenko as a member of the company’s management committee for a five-year term.

At the same time, Gazprom’s board terminated the authority of Dmitry Lyugai as a member of the management committee, the company said on Monday.

Mikhalenko graduated from the Bryansk Institute of Transport Machinery, majoring in Internal Combustion Engines. He has served in Gazprom for more than 26 years now.
