Lampung FSRU gets LNG cargo

Indonesia’s Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) received the first LNG cargo at its new FSRU located 6 km offshore Lampung.

The 150,000 cbm Neo Energy docked at the import terminal on Tuesday, with a cargo from the BP-operated Tangguh LNG terminal, according to a report by Argus Media.

This shipment is one of five planned to be delivered to the FSRU from Tangguh this year.

The 170,000 cbm FSRU, owned by Höegh LNG and chartered to PGN for a period of 20 years, will supply gas to the electricity sector and industry in West Java and Sumatra.
