Tesoro tanker spills oil off Oahu

HONOLULU (AP) _ A Tesoro oil tanker spilled up to 2,000 gallons of crude oil into the Pacific Ocean early Saturday morning.
Tesoro spokesman Nathan Hokama says the spill occurred about one-point-five miles off the coast of Oahu when a hose line pumping oil from the tanker to a floating buoy disconnected.
He says the Coast Guard and the state Health Department categorized it as a minimal spill.
