China: SF Shipyard Organizes Training Course on EHSMS

To strengthen the building of EHSMS (environment & occupational health safety management system) and further improve the comprehensive quality of all internal auditors, SF shipyard invited trainers from CCS certification company to give a 3-day training to directors from different departments, sections and workshops and internal auditors, which lasted from June 10 to 12, regarding occupational health safety ，environment system standard etc.

The trainer elaborated on EMS ISO14001：2004 as well as OHSMS 18001:2001. Also, staff present were taught how to audit the two systems as internal auditors. What’s more, he , from the professional perspective, analyzed in detail the existing problems which appeared during the internal auditing of EHSMS. The training course enables the employees present to get full understanding to the highlights & main points during the construction work of two systems, helps to create better internal environment for the application and development of EHSMS , promotes the normalization, sequencing as well as standardization of shipyard’s safety & environmental management and pushes forward and boosts shipyard’s safety management efficiency and function .
