AB Amber Grid to Take Over Gas Transmission Activity from AB Lietuvos Dujos

The National Control Commission for Prices and Energy (NCCPE) on Thursday adopted its decision on the validity of AB Lietuvos Dujos natural gas transmission price cap.

It also includes the component of the natural gas transmission price cap (LNG terminal-extra tariff component) and specific natural gas transmission service tariffs to AB Amber Grid, which will take over natural gas transmission activity from AB Lietuvos Dujos, the company said in a statement.

The natural gas transmission price cap and specific natural gas transmission service tariffs will be applied to AB Amber Grid from the day of entry into force of the fixed-term natural gas transmission business licence, which will be issued to AB Amber Grid by the NCCPE in accordance with laws of Lithuania, to 31 December 2013, it said.
