Africaborg Leaves Wagenborg’s Fleet

Dutch shipping company Royal Wagenborg has disposed of one of its multi purpose (MPP) vessels, Africaborg. 

“As of September 14, the m.s. Africaborg has been sold and delivered to its new owner. Wagenborg will not be chartering Africaborg anymore,” the company said.

Previously known as CCNI Topocalma, Africaborg was built at Hudong Zhonghua shipyard in China in 2007.

The 17,300 dwt ship has a length of 143 meters and a width of 21.5 meters.

Currently, the Netherlands-flagged ship has a market value of USD 5.6 million, according to data provided by VesselsValue.

Following the sale of Africaborg, Royal Wagenborg’s fleet consists of more than 170 vessels.
