AGR, OMV sign well management contract

AGR has entered into a new Well Management Services Contract with OMV (Norge).

The contract also covers delivery of other Drilling and Well Engineering services for complete well construction. The Contract is for three years with the option of

two further years.

AGR has previously worked with OMV on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) delivering two Well Management projects. The first, Chamonix, was drilled using the Borgland Dolphin rig.

The second were Norway’s most northerly wells, Wisting and Wisting Alternative in the Barents Sea using the Leiv Eiriksson rig. The Wisting wells had combined environmental, operational and logistical challenges related to the location and shallow reservoir nature of the wells.
