Aibel reaches consultancy agreement with Statoil (Norway)

Aibel has entered into a framework agreement concerning the supply of personnel to Statoil’s projects in Norway and abroad.

Aibel reaches consultancy agreement with Statoil (Norway)

The agreement comes in addition to Aibel’s existing framework agreements with Statoil and is valid for one year from 1 August 2014 with an option to extend for one further year. The scope of the consultancy services will at all times depend upon Statoil’s specific needs.

“This is an excellent recognition of our employees’ expertise and the quality of the projects we carry out for Statoil,” says EVP M&M and modifications in Aibel, Jan Ståle Skår.

Initially, services will be supplied in Norway but the agreement also includes the option for work abroad.

Stability for all parties involved

The framework agreement provides Aibel with an opportunity for alternative employment during periods of varying activity within maintenance and modification in its own projects.

“In addition to improved stability for the company it also provides our employees with more security and opportunities to experience new challenges. Many of these employees are familiar with the processes and requirements in Statoil. The agreement is therefore also advantageous to Statoil,” explains Jan Ståle Skår.

The agreement covers a wide range of consultancy services within technical assistance and project administration.
