The focus of the repair work is to replace sand along the dune area northwest of the Millway Beach parking area.

According to the official release, materials and equipment will be staged temporarily in the parking lot for the Blish Point boat ramp while the work is ongoing.

Vehicle access to the Blish Point boat ramp and parking lot will be maintained during the construction operations; however, a portion of the parking lot will be sectioned off for delivery and offloading of replacement sand, staging of materials and operation of equipment. Users of the boat ramp are advised to use extreme caution while using the facilities,” the town stated.

Operations will start promptly at 7:00 AM and run until 5:00 PM.

The project is expected to be completed by Friday, February 1, 2019, weather permitting.
