The office in Dubai will be manned by Tim Mulders as Business Developer. Together with the team in the already established office in Doha, Qatar, Mulders will be strengthening Ampelmann’s position in the regional market, Ampelmann said in a statement on Friday.

Jayne Moran, Sales and Business Development Manager for the Middle East & Caspian regions, said: “Tim has been with the company for the past five years and is an experienced project manager with a good understanding of what clients require. Moving him into a business development role in the UAE will enable Ampelmann to be closer to its clients and provide the regional support that they need.”

Ampelmann is seeing growing demand for Walk to Work (W2W) services in the Middle East. The company is currently enabling multiple crew change campaigns, among which two with vessel owner Caspian Marine Services.

Mulders said: “The new office shows how committed Ampelmann is to the Middle East and the UAE, in particular.”
