Anadarko makes new appointments

Woodlands-based Anadarko revealed it has made new appointments to the company’s management. 

The company’s Board of Directors has named Darrell E. Hollek as Executive Vice President, U.S. Onshore Exploration and Production, effective immediately. Charles A. Meloy, the company’s current Executive Vice President, U.S. Onshore Exploration and Production, will remain as an Executive Vice President until his retirement in early June, Anadarko said in a statement.

Hollek has 35 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry. He began his career with the company in 1980 and most recently served as Sr. Vice President, Deepwater Americas Operations.

Board of Directors has named Christopher O. Champion as Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller, effective June 1, 2015, succeeding M. Cathy Douglas, who is retiring following more than 35 years with the company.

Champion, age 45, has more than 22 years of experience in the accounting industry. He is currently a senior audit partner at KPMG LLP, where he serves as KPMG’s national audit leader for oil and natural gas. He began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP in 1992.
