Solstad Offshore reported on Tuesday that it had sold the AHTS Far Sabre to an undisclosed buyer, who took delivery of the vessel on 14 March 2023.

According to the Norwegian player, the sale of the vessel will result in a minor positive accounting effect to be reflected in 1Q 2023. The 2008-built AHTS Far Sabre has been in lay-up since 2019.

Solstad Offshore has embarked on a restructuring mission, thus, as a result, the firm agreed to sell its platform supply vessel (PSV) fleet earlier this month to Tidewater for a total cash consideration of approximately $577 million. This marks an exit from the PSV segment.
