Applied LNG’s Midlothian facility to begin production

Applied LNG informed that its LNG production platform in Midlothian, Texas will be opened on October 27th.

Dallas-Midlothian LNG has an initial production capacity of 30 million gallons of LNG per year, the company informed in an e-mailed statement to LNG World News.

At full build-out, the plant will have up to six liquefiers, for a total production capacity of 180 million gallons per year, and up to 1.5 million gallons of storage.

Plans also include an on-site truck fueling station.

DallasMidlothian LNG’s initial liquefaction train is the company’s third liquefier along with the two currently in operation at the Needle Mountain LNG plant located near Topock, Arizona.
