AqualisBraemar offers rig inspection services as well as services within well control, dynamic positioning, integrated control management system inspections, rig preservation assessments, and rig selection consultancy.

On the other hand, HOSE International specializes in inspection, re-activation, and project support of well control equipment.

Steven Lee, head of rig inspection services at AqualisBraemar, said: “The combined competence of AqualisBraemar and HOSE International will provide oil companies and rig operators worldwide with some of the oil and gas industry’s leading experts within well control, rig compliance and dynamic positioning.”

The company added that, through the partnership with AqualisBraemar, HOSE International would focus on independent auditing of well control equipment.

Richard Brennan, managing director of HOSE International, added: “Operators and drilling companies are increasingly asking suppliers to support them with both rig intake programs and rig inspection services. Through our complimentary partnership with AqualisBraemar, we can now provide both types of services in the UK and other offshore basins.”

It is worth reminding that Aqualis bought the offshore and marine business from Braemar in June 2019, and named the new combined company AqualisBraemar.
