Argentina awaits LNG cargo from Trinidad

Trinidad and Tobago shipped a liquefied natural gas cargo from the Point Fortin liquefaction plant to Argentina on Sunday.

The 87,305 cbm Arctic Spirit is expected to arrive at Argentina’s Escobar LNG import terminal around October 15, ship tracking data shows.

Atlantic LNG Company of Trinidad and Tobago operates a four-train liquefaction facility located at Point Fortin on the southwest coast of the country.

The facility, which sources natural gas from fields in and around Trinidad and Tobago, is capable of producing up to 100,000 cubic metres of LNG per day.
