Argentina: Bahia Blanca Gets LNG Cargo

Argentina’s Bahía Blanca GasPort (BBGP) received a liquefied natural gas cargo onboard the 138,000 m3 Gemmata from Qatar on Sunday, according to shipping data.

Located 400 miles south of Buenos Aires in the port city of Bahía Blanca, BBGP was Argentina’s first LNG receiving facility.

Providing access to Argentina’s gas grid, the facility delivers natural gas to industrial, commercial and residential customers.
