AVEVA to Display Its Portfolio at NEVA 2013

AVEVA will be an exhibitor at the 12th International Shipping, Shipbuilding and Offshore Energy Exhibition, NEVA 2013, taking place 24-27 September at the Lenexpo in St. Petersburg, Russia, the company announced today.

Visitors to the AVEVA stand will be able to see a host of software solutions for the shipbuilding industry. AVEVA will demonstrate its latest release of its Integrated Engineering & Design Solution AVEVA Marine™, focusing on the exciting new features recently introduced such as Pipe Fabrication, a set of comprehensive design tools for generating right-first-time production data for pipes, and AVEVA Automated Plate Nesting™, which optimises material use in ship and offshore construction. In addition, AVEVA will showcase its solutions for laser scanning within the marine industry and its newly acquired solution AVEVA Bocad™ for steel and offshore structures.

AVEVA experts will also present the integrated AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management™ (AVEVA ERM™) suite of applications that support the complete planning, fabrication and production process for shipbuilding. Through integration with AVEVA Marine’s design and engineering applications, AVEVA ERM helps to significantly streamline all shipyard work processes, improving efficiency in the manufacture of ships and other marine assets from the earliest stages of the project lifecycle.

‘Large international events such as NEVA allow us to showcase our solutions in the shipbuilding industry,’ said Evgeny Fedotov, Senior Vice President, Russia, India & Middle East, AVEVA. ‘90% of the world’s ten largest shipbuilders rely on AVEVA for the most powerful and comprehensive solution set available. AVEVA technology is used in almost every sector of the shipbuilding and offshore industries, from the most massive bulk carriers and complex cruise ships, through advanced naval vessels, large FPSOs and semi-sub platforms and down to the smallest offshore support vessels. We look forward to sharing this at NEVA.’

Since 1991 the NEVA International Exhibitions and conferences have successfully promoted the massive redevelopment of the Russian commercial maritime industries. The great success of the NEVA Exhibition is based on its effective presentation of the most modern technologies and equipment available to meet the large-scale demands of the Russian commercial maritime industries and administrations to develop the urgently required renewal of the shipbuilding, shipyard, ship equipment industries, the sea and inland waterways shipping fleets, the marine support sector for the offshore energy expansion and for the ports systems throughout the Russian Federation.
