Axpo Iberia sold the chilled fuel to the Dutch company Titan LNG that loaded a total of 1,250 tons of LNG, equivalent to 19 GWh, onto the Coral Fraseri vessel, for transport to the Sleipnir.

The loading operation has been completed at the end of September at the Bilbao port regasification terminal (operated by BBG), Axpo Iberia said in its statement.

During 2019, Axpo Iberia, Spanish LNG trader, has unloaded a total of 21 LNG carriers in Spain, with an equivalent total volume of 21 TWh. Of these, 14 took place in Bilbao, 3 in Barcelona, 3 in Sagunto and one more in the Mugardos plant.

Antonio Canseco, head of the LNG business in Axpo, said that the company has planned three additional unloadings before the end of the year.
