BHI Rig Count: U.S. + 23 to 1792 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is up 23 rigs from last week to 1792, with oil rigs up 13 to 1443, gas rigs up 10 to 345, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 4.

U.S. Rig Count is up 40 rigs from last year at 1752, with oil rigs up 102, gas rigs down 62, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged.
The U.S. Offshore rig count is 55, unchanged from last week, and up 4 rigs year over year.
BHI Rig Count: Canada – 39 to 587 rigs

Canadian Rig Count is down 39 rigs from last week to 587, with oil rigs down 34 to 389, and gas rigs down 5 to 198.

Canadian Rig Count is up 7 rigs from last year at 580, with oil rigs down 62, and gas rigs up 69.
