Belgium: Zeebrugge to re-export LNG cargo

Awilco LNG’s WilForce carrier is scheduled to arrive at Belgium’s Zeebrugge terminal from Huelva in Spain on February 7.

The 156,000 cbm carrier will load a re-export cargo and depart from the Zeebrugge terminal to Dubai on February 8, port data reveals.

According to the data, WilForce is expected to arrive at the Dubai Supply Authority (DUSUP) LNG terminal located at the Jebel Ali Port on February 20.

In 2010, DUSUP completed the construction of the LNG terminal in Jebel Ali port which allows the import of chilled gas via a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU).

LNG tankers berth alongside the Explorer FSRU, which regasifies the LNG using seawater through a heat exchanger, and then flows the gas into the onshore pipeline network.
