Boluda Lines Starts Alicante-Canary Islands Service

Spain’s Boluda Lines today launched a new weekly service directly connecting the mainland with Tenerife and Las Palmas on the Canary Islands, with a transit time of 2 days.

As of today, the 749 TEU ”Wega” boxship employed on this service will depart Alicante every Friday, and the Canary Islands every Monday, complementing the already existing MED service which covers the route between Barcelona, Valencia and the Canary Islands.

The latest service is the company’s 13th commercial line on which a total of 10 container ships are employed.
