The three 63,960 dwt vessels are slated for delivery in 2019 and 2020, according to Intermodal.

The price details for the trio have not been revealed.

Osaka Asahi has five bulkers in its live fleet of nine ships, data from VesselsValue shows.

These also include one small dry vessel and three containerships.

The company is set to welcome a 2,100 dwt singledecker newbuilding into its fleet later this year.

A Supramax bulk carrier newbuilding of 60,200 dwt is expected to follow suit in 2020. The bulker is being built by Japanese Mitsui Tamano.
