Bulker, Fishing Vessel Collide in Yellow Sea

China-flagged bulk carrier Jin Tai 66 and a fishing vessel smashed into each other in the Yellow Sea off Rongcheng on Monday evening, August 4.

There were no causalities in the collision, however; extensive damages to both vessels have been reported. The vessels were said to had been taking in water as a result of their respective hull breaches.

Nevertheless, the vessels managed to say afloat and reach safe anchorage.

According to the latest data on the bulk carrier’s location, the ship is anchored in Shidao. Jin Tai 66 was heading from Shanghai bound for Huadongchuanchang.
