Bumi Armada’s CFO quits

Bumi Armada on Friday informed it chief financial officer Kenneth Murdoch decided to step down from his role to pursue personal goals outside the company. 

Pierre Savy has been nominated as the acting CFO starting in his new role with immediate effect, the company said in a statement.

Murdoch will remain with the company to support Savy during the transition period until his departure on November 17.

According to the statement, Savy has been the part of the company’s finance and project organisation since May 2015 and brings a wealth of industry experience particularly in financial reporting, finance and internal controls.

Prior to joining the company, Savy was the finance director of SBM Offshore in Kuala Lumpur, and he also served as the CFO of Technip Asia Pacific and was highly involved in the setting up and further development of Technip in APAC region.
