China: CIC Jiangsu Shipyard Delivers 47.500 DWT Bulk Carrier Ming Zhou 55

On the Dec. 25th 2011, the leading ship of 47.500 DWT bulk carrier “Ming Zhou 55” for Ningbo Marine Company Ltd (SH 600798 NMCL) was successfully named and delivered at Shanghai Changxing Island by China Shipping Industry (Jiangsu) Co. Ltd (CIC Jiangsu).

General manager Mr. Wu Chengye of China Shipping Industry (CIC) attended the ceremony and extended the warmest congratulations and grateful thanks to the owner. The deputy secretary of Party Committee and the acting warden of Jiangbei District of Ningbo City Madam Ding Xiaofang assumed the honored guest for naming the new ship. Secretary of Commission for disciplinary inspection of CIC Mr. Li Xiaoren extended welcome address. The president Mr. Guan Xiongwen and the general manager Mr. Chu Min of Ningbo Marine Group Company Ltd., the general manager Mr.Dong Jun of NMCL together with other honored guests participated in the ceremony.

The ceremony was hosted by Mr. Chen Junhua, secretary of the Party Committee of CIC Jiangsu The Mr. Guan Xiongwen extended an address on behalf of the owner. Mr. Wu Chengye, Madam Ding Xiaofang, Mr. Guan Xiongwen, Mr. Chu Min and Mr. Dongjun jointly cut the ribbon at the naming and delivery ceremony for the new ship. Madam Ding Xiaofang named the new ship and conducted the ceremonial breaking of the champagne bottle. The executive deputy director manager Wang Yiling of CIC Jiangsu and Mr. Dong Jun exchanged delivery certificates with each other. Secretary of commission for disciplinary inspection of Mr. Li Xiaoren and Mr.Dong Jun exchanged company souvenir with each other. Mr. Wang Yiling gave the new ship model to captain Mr. Tang Wen as the present.

The new ship was the 21st vessel delivered by CIC this year. The deputy general manager Mr. Li Zhengjian of CIC had an interview with the distinguished guests of the owner in Changxing shipyard of China Shipping Industry, and accompanied the guests to visit “Ming Zhou 55”.

The leaders of concerned departments of People’s Government of Jiangbei District of Ningbo City, NMCL and two main base of CIC in total of over 200 persons attended the ceremony.
