Ouhua Shipbuilding Holds Steel Cutting Ceremony for Bulk Carrier NB625

Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding on April 14th, at its No. 5 workshop of Fabricating Department, held the Steel cutting ceremony for 37.000 DWT Bulk Carrier bearing the yard number NB625. The ceremony was attended by ALL SEAS (the ship owner of the vessel), Lloyds Register and some representatives from the shipyard’s Fabricating Department and Business Department.

So far, all four vessels of 37.000 DWT series built for ALL SEAS have been put into construction. Before the ceremony, 37.000 DWT-NB605 was launched on April 10th and 37.000 DWT-NB604 started its sea trials on April 12th.

Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding Co, established Oct. 2004, is the leading shipbuilding enterprise in Zhejiang province. The company occupies 1,400,000 ㎡ with more than 2000 m of coast lines, it has two drydocks of 100,000 ton capacity and one drydock with 30,000 ton capacity which make the company being with more than 1,000,000 dwt production capacity per year. So far, the company has developed high value added and high technology vessels and provided 1200 TEU, 1000 TEU, 1500 TEU, 1700 TEU, 4800 TEU, 5300 TEU, MPV3000 DWT, MPV31000 dwt, heavy lift 16800 dwt, bulk carrier 37000 dwt and 82000 dwt. 5300 TEU is the vessel with most container space in Zhejiang Shipbuilding Circle. Also the project of Panamax container development had been awarded by Zhejiang Technology Center.
