PSA Group Bags Four Awards at AFSCA Ceremony

The PSA Group received four honours at the 26th Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCA) ceremony held in Shanghai on June 5:

  • PSA International (PSAI) for ‘Best Global Container Terminal Operation Company’ (for the seventh time);
  •  PSA Singapore Terminals for ‘Best Container Terminal – Asia (over 4 million TEUs per annum)’ (for the 23rd time);
  • PSA Antwerp for ‘Best Container Terminal – Europe’; and
  •  Fuzhou International Container Terminal for ‘Best Container Terminal – Asia (under 1 million TEUs per annum)’.

On winning these awards, Mr Fock Siew Wah, Group Chairman of PSAI, said, “We are honoured to be bestowed with these four awards and humbled by the industry’s vote of confidence in PSA. These awards are testimony to the collective zeal and efforts of PSA management, staff and unions to increase productivity and value-add to our customers. PSA will continue to provide the reliable, efficient and quality services which we are known for.”

AFSCA is an annual event organised by leading shipper and supply chain newspaper Cargonews Asia. More than 13,000 readers of Cargonews Asia were polled to select best-in-class companies in 40 industry-specific categories. Award winners are regarded as industry benchmarks of excellence in their respective areas.
