China - SF Shipyard Sends New Polish Steamship's Bulk Carrier on Sea Trial

On the morning of Nov. 7, 2#16900 DWT BC slowly set sail from the outfitting quay of SF shipyard accompanied by resounding and earsplitting firecrackers to the sea area of ZhouShan, ZheJiang province.

It was reported that, this vessel is the second one of eight 16900 DWT bulk carriers of same series contracted between SF shipyard and Polish Steamship Co.,. It is 148.80m in LOA, 140.80m in LPP, 23.60m in moulded breath and 12.5m in moulded depth. It is being built strictly according to ABS rules.
