STX Dalian Clinches $ 330 Mln Shipbuilding Deal

STX Corporation said on Saturday that its Chinese shipyard STX Dalian Shipbuilding has signed a contract worth $330m to construct four containerships for China International Marine Containers (CIMC). Seatrade Asia reports.

According to the Seatrade Asia report, the concerned ships, of 9,200-TEU cargo capacity, are scheduled to be delivered by 2014 to CIMC based in Shenzhen, Guangdong. After the delivery the four containerships will be chartered by French shipping giant CMA CGM.
