China: Zhenjiang Shipyard Completes Two Azimuth Thruster Tugs

Zhenjiang shipyard has completed and delivered  Azimuth Thruster Tugs” Jing Tang Gang Tuo 15″,” Jing Tang Gang Tuo 16″.

Since 1986, more than four hundred Multi-functional Azimuth Thruster Tugs have been developed and built by the Zhenjiang shipyard company. Except for harbor operation, the usage of the vessels covers firefighting, icebreaking, environmental protecting, patrolling, piloting and etc. Now the shipyard has over ten types of vessel equipped with different engines and propulsion system, such as stern tractor type, midship tractor type, anti-wind type etc.
