CIC Boluomiao Shipyard Completes Repair of M/V DING HENG 5

CIC Boluomiao Shipyard completed the repair of M/V “DING HENG 5”, that arrived at the yard on 22nd March, enabling the vessel to sail off smoothly on April 6th.

The main repair activities included increasing the speed of the main engine, enhancing load power and eliminating abnormal engine sound.

 “It was another successful win-win cooperation example for both the shipyard and the owner in which case . I hope that Boluomiao Shipyard will continue to make full use of its technology and quality to help every owner in the future and upgrade its brand,” leader of the company owner M/V “DING HENG 5” said amid a return visit to Boluomiao Shipyard’s Commercial Department.

So far the yard has collected an extensive experience in ship repair  of different kinds of vessels but also conversion activities, such as that of M/V “NAN HAI 222” which is known as the first conversion in China.

The Oil/chemical tanker was built  in 2008. With the length of 96 of m  and 15 m breadth, the vessel has a dead weight of 3, 880 tons and can reach a maximum speed of  10.6 knots.
