Clipper Takes Delivery of New Multi-Purpose Vessel from Chinese Shipyard

Clipper has taken delivery of the newbuilding vessel Clipper Newark. She is the second in a series of four 17,000 dwt multi-purpose vessels ordered from Tongfang Shipyard in China. The delivery of Clipper Newark is in line with Clipper Projects’ strategic goal to renew the fleet.

Clipper Newark is committed to a T/C until end October 2011. On her maiden voyage Clipper Newark is carrying project cargo from the Far East to Brazil, commanded by Captain Alexander Dmitriev and Chief Engineer Sergey Bazhin.
