Cluff Natural Resources names new non-exec director

London-based investment company Cluff Natural Resources (CLNR) has appointed Mark Lappin as a non-executive director of the company.

Cluff said on Monday that Lappin’s appointment has an immediate effect.

Lappin has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, most recently as Sub-Surface Exploration and Production Director for UK and Netherlands at Centrica.

He began his career as a Geophysicist at Phillips Petroleum and has since held senior technical and commercial roles with ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, and Dart Energy.

Over the past five years, he has been either a director or partner at companies like Hydrocarbon Resources, Elswick Energy, Bowland Resources, and Greenpark Energy. At the moment he is also a director at Complete Exploration and Development Limited.

CLNR also said that Lappin does not hold any interest in the share capital of the company.
