Cochin Shipyard eyeing GAIL contract

After completing the first phase of India’s first aircraft carrier, Cochin Shipyard set its sights on a multi-million dollar LNG carrier contract for GAIL

The Times of India reports that the company is in talks with GTT of France for the containment systems and technology.

The shipyard is also reportedly in talks with a Korean company to acquire the necessary technology for the design and build of large ships.
