COSL’s Submarine Cable Fleet Commences 3D Surveying in China South Sea

China Oilfield Services Limited announces its submarine cable fleet, Binhai517, has commenced a 3D encryption operation in China South Sea. This marks the beginning of the Company’s 3D surveying operations in China South Sea.

Binhai517 Submarine Cable Fleet is COSL’s second submarine cable fleet, comprising Binhai517, a seismic vessel; HYK1, a streamer vessel with equipment; and HYK2, another streamer vessel. The fleet has been under construction since February 2011, and has just a testing and trial operation routine in January 2012 with satisfactory results.

The successful commencement of operation of Binhai517 Submarine Cable Fleet in Beibu Gulf, will create effective means to solve complex geological survey problems in China South Sea.
