Dana Petroleum Names New COO (UK)
Dana Petroleum has appointed Graham Scotton as the company’s first Chief Operating Officer, based in Aberdeen.
Graham will report to the company’s Group Chief Executive Dr Marcus Richards and has also been appointed to the Board of Directors. He brings considerable experience to Dana having spent 36 years working in the oil and gas industry. He has worked for BP and BG Group and joins Dana from his previous role as country manager for Cobalt International Energy in Angola.
He has also held senior leadership positions in a number of different locations including Kazakhstan, Angola, Egypt, Venezuela, Azerbaijan, Norway, the USA and the UK. These roles have included petroleum and reservoir engineering, asset management and offshore installation management. He also spent time as a VP of operations, general manager in Egypt and as a COO in Angola.
