Dayang bags Shell and Mubadala jobs in Malaysia

Malaysian offshore services provider Dayang Enterprise has been awarded contracts from Shell and Mubadala Petroleum.

In an update on Wednesday, Dayang said it had received a contract extension from Shell for the provision of one unit of accommodation workboat Dayang Opal.

The value of the contract is based on work orders issued by Shell throughout the extended contract duration effective from 20 March 2021 until 19 March 2022 under the same contract conditions.

Shell has also recently awarded a contract extension to the Malaysian contractor for the provision of topside major maintenance services offshore Malaysia. The duration of the contract was extended until 15 June 2021.

In a separate announcement on Thursday, Dayang said it had been awarded a contract by Mubadala Petroleum’s entity, MDC Oil & Gas (SK320) Ltd., for the provision of Pan Malaysia maintenance, construction, and modification.

The value of this contract is based on work orders issued by Mubadala Petroleum throughout the contract duration and will include any or all other work and services which is generally related to the scope of works in this PM-MCM contract at a fixed schedule of rates.

The duration of the contract is effective from 9 December 2020 and it will expire on 16 July 2023 with an option to extend for a period of one year.
