Deep Sea Supply wins charters for two PSVs

Deep Sea Supply, a Cyprus-headquartered owner of offshore support vessels, has announced that the company has agreed on bareboat contracts for the charters of two PSVs, Sea Surfer and Sea Swan.

The two vessels will be used for operations in Australian waters.

The end charterer will be an internationally recognized major oil company and both bareboat contracts are for 270 days firm plus 6 x 1 month option.

The total value of the firm part of the contracts is about USD 11M.

Expected beginning of the bareboat charters are early October 2014.

The vessel ‘Sea Surfer’ is 88.9 metres long and 19 metres in the beam and equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion system. The cargo deck area is approximately 1,000 m2 with a dead weight of 4,500 tonnes.

The vessel ‘Sea Swan’ is a Ulstein PX 105 design built at Sinopacific in China. Main characteristics of the vessel are: 4.700 dwt, 1000m2 deck area, clean design, diesel electric propulsion and the X-bow design which significantly reduces fuel consumption.
