Delek: Gas Partnerships Get Temporary Injunction on Leviathan Leases

On May 14, 2014, Delek Group’s gas partnerships received a copy of a petition which includes a request for a temporary injunction. 

The petition was filed by the Association for Sustainable Economics against the Minister of National Infrastructures, Energy and Water Resources, the Petroleum Commissioner of the Ministry of National Infrastructures, Energy, and Water Resources, and against the partners in Leviathan South I/14 and Leviathan North I/15 leases, including the partnerships.

“The claims are with regard to certain sections in the Leases agreements and with regard to the procedure granting these Leases. The Partnerships intend to study this above mentioned petition to the High Court with legal counsels’ assistance, in order to examine the implications and accordingly formulate further steps in this matter,” Delek said in a statement.
