DHT Signs LOI for Three More VLCCs

DHT Holdings, Inc. (DHT) has entered into a letter of intent (LOI) with Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI) in South Korea for the construction of three more very large crude carriers.

The contract price is approx $97.3 million per VLCC, including $2.3 million in additions and upgrades to the standard specification.

The vessels are of 300,000 dwt and are scheduled for delivery in September, October and November 2016.
