DOF scores brace in Egypt

Norwegian offshore shipowner DOF has won two contracts in Egypt.

The company said on Monday the contract was with a large international contractor in for the vessels Skandi Saigon and Skandi Sotra. According to VesselsValue, the contractor in question is the Italian company Saipem.

Both contracts have a duration of 75 days firm + 30 days options with start up in February.

Skandi Sotra is a PSV, MT 6000 and Skandi Saigon an AHTS, Vard AH08 design.

This is a third charter deal for DOF in one week, as DOF Subsea was on Friday awarded a three-year inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) frame agreement in the Asia Pacific region with “one of the major oil and gas companies in the region”

Also Norskan Offshore, a Brazilian  subsidiary of DOF, last week secured secured three long-term charters with Petrobras.
