Oslo-listed offshore vessel operator DOF Subsea has said it has been awarded several contracts in the Atlantic region.

DOF on Tuesday said the new deals would secure utilization for the vessels Geosund and Skandi Skansen throughout the second and the third quarter of the year.

According to the company, the awarded works are all within the Subsea IMR Projects segment. The scopes include seabed mapping, surveys, pipeline and structure inspection, light construction and repair work.

One of the awards includes a Subsea Services Frame agreement in the UK with a major North Sea operator. As part of this Frame Agreement DOF Subsea will carry out undertake the 2018 pipeline and structure inspection campaign.

The scope covers inspection of subsea facilities, pipelines, and platform structures as well as light construction and repair work.

Jan Kristian Haukeland, Executive Vice President for the Atlantic region stated: “This is a real positive number of wins for the region, and for the company. DOF Subsea is well placed to plan and provide strong, collaborative support for our clients’ projects in Survey and IMR.”

DOF did not reveal the names of the clients nor the financial details of the signed contracts.
