DSME orders GTT tech for 6 LNG carriers

GTT of France said it has received an order for six LNGCs which will be built by the South Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.

These six LNGCs, for a European owner, are expected to be delivered between 2018 and 2019.

They will be built with the NO96-GW technology which allows an optimized boil-off rate of cargo LNG, according to a statement by GTT.
