EBDG Invests in Arctic Engineering Skills of Its Team

Elliott Bay Design Group (EBDG), a specialist in naval architecture, marine engineering and production support, congratulated Patrick Faas, PE; Matthew Wichgers, PE and Steve Harris, PE, PMP on the successful completion of the Cold Regions Engineering Short Course.

The cold regions certification is a credential that recognizes acquired skills in arctic engineering and is required of all engineers seeking licensure in the state of Alaska.

To date EBDG has eight staff members certified in cold regions engineering, and their extensive training includes special knowledge and techniques that make them uniquely qualified to meet the challenges of design, construction and operations presented by the climatic, geological and logistical conditions of the world’s arctic and subarctic regions.

At EBDG we applaud our engineers on the attainment of this important professional milestone, and the role their achievements play in our company’s continued growth and improvement. By investing in the skills of our team, we become more effective at delivering the best service possible to our clients,” EBDG said in a release.
