EMEC’s Max Carcas to Speak at Scottish Renewables Event

EMEC’s Max Carcas will be speaking at the Scottish Renewables Annual Conference and Exhibition taking this week, 18-19th March 2014 in Edinburgh.

Max is speaking on Day 2 in the Finance Conference in the Wave and Tidal plenary (parallel 3B) alongside Cameron Johnston (Nautricity), Chris Stark (Scottish Government) and Ray Hunter (RES Offshore). Calum Davidson, Director of Energy and Low Carbon at Highlands and Islands Enterprise will be chairing the session.

The event aims to welcome around 1,000 delegates and 60 exhibitors to the incredible new wing of the EICC in Edinburgh. 2014 is a pivotal year for renewables, and for Scotland, with the advent of a reformed electricity market, the upcoming referendum on Scottish constitution and Europe looking to what lies beyond 2020. This year’s conference will explore the big issues that will make or break their ambitions for Scotland’s most exciting growth industry.
